BOOKING

Take a moment to review my terms and conditions prior to booking a session. Please reach out to me with any questions. 

 Terms & Conditions of Sweet Dreams Photo Studio *

A. APPOINTMENT TIME: Please arrive 15 minutes before your session begins at the place and time agreed upon. Extra time will not be added to your appointment if you are late.

B. SESSION FEES: Client agrees to pay photographer a session fee in full before the session. This is a non-refundable fee.

C. RESCHEDULING:If your date needs to be changed once you have booked your session, you have one reschedule allowed. You must contact me via email at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule your session. If any cancellation occurs within in the 48 hours before your session, you will need to start the rebooking process over in addition to paying a new session fee. If the client decide to completely cancel the shoot, the session fee is still required. For weather cancellations, you will receive an email to let you know your session needs to be rescheduled. Karen has the ultimate decision on if the session needs to be rescheduled due to weather conditions.

D. RE-SHOOTS: Re-shoots are determined at the discretion of the photographer. Re-shoots will not be given for poor choices of clothing, make-up, hair or weather-related issues, or by not following the recommendations of the photographer.

E. VIEWING GALLERY: An in person appointment to view your gallery will be scheduled within 14 days of the session with your edited images. Gallery photos are not to be screenshot or shared. Once the client chooses their photos, they may purchase a package or individual photos upon which payment will be due immediately via e-transfer or cash. All sales are final. Any additional images must be purchased separately. A finished downloadable pin-protected gallery of the client’s images will be provided within 2 days of the Gallery Viewing.  

F. MODEL RELEASE:  It is agreed that dual ownership of the purchased digital files will be maintained by the Client and the Photographer. Client agrees not to sell any of the files or prints without written permission from the photographer. The client agrees that they are signing a model release and by signing the release, the Photographer will have full rights to use any media captured for for advertising and promotional purposes. 

G. WAIVER OF LIABILITY: Photographer is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their children and for themselves and release the photographer from any claims against their person or their business. Sweet Dreams Photo Studio is not responsible for uncooperative parties. It is understood that the behaviour of children is unpredictable, however photographer is not liable if children do not cooperate during sessions.

H. EDITING: Images are not to be edited or altered in any manner by any person or company other than Sweet Dreams Photo Studio., which includes applying Instagram filters or any other program that provides edits and filters to images. When published online it is required that citation of photographer be made (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and blogs). Unless agreed upon prior to any editing work, high-resolution digital download sets may contain a mixture of colour, black and white, and selective colour images. Color correction and/or retouching are included at Photographer's discretion. Client may request further changes for an additional charge.

I. COPYRIGHT: Photographer retains all copyrights to all images created during client’s session.

J. DAMAGES CLAUSES: Client is liable for any damages caused by the client and/or their party on the photographer's equipment and props. The term "Damages" shall mean any breaks, chips, stains, rips or damage considered by the photographer to be outside of normal wear and tear. Client will be responsible for replacement of the damaged item(s) or paying the cost of the damaged item(s). The photographer has the right to withhold photographs from the client until replacement(s) and/or payment(s) for the damages incurred have been received.

K. IMAGES: Client understands and agrees that photographer is not required to maintain copies of the photos from this shoot after the photos have been delivered to client.

 Photographer and client agree that the photographer is in no obligation to capture any specific moment, or pose, or person(s) during the shoot.
